Dermal fillers at MODE, a medspa in North Scottsdale, are hyaluronic acid gels, Juvederm and Restylane lines, placed to restore volume lost to hollowing in the temples and cheeks, enhance facial contours, soften the folds and expression lines that emerge with age, and restore small areas too, such as filler for thinning earlobes. HA is naturally present in the body, making these fillers well tolerated, reversible, and incrementally adjustable. Previous work that needs adjusting is handled through filler correction and dissolving.

Our approach is restraint-first, placing support in the mid face before we treat the folds. The goal is anatomical proportion: a cheek that looks like your cheek, a jawline built on chin and pre-jowl support rather than volume, a lip that reads as yours, and a plan that shifts to maintenance after full correction. We build gradually across visits when needed, planning five areas as one face when the whole face has lost support, and we’d rather under-dose than over-correct, as the before and after results from dermal filler patients show.

Treatment

30-60 minutes. Topical numbing; most HA fillers contain lidocaine. Placed with fine needle or cannula.

Six-week follow-up

Complimentary. Swelling has fully resolved by then and we assess whether any refinement is needed.

Maintenance

HA fillers typically last 6-18 months depending on product and area. Most patients return at 12 months for review.
