Daxxify

Daxxify is the newest FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A — daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm from Revance. The distinctive feature: a proprietary peptide stabilizer that extends the duration of effect to approximately 6 months in many patients, versus 3-4 for Botox and Dysport.

For patients who want longer intervals between appointments, Daxxify is the current best answer in the neuromodulator category. The peptide stabilizer does not change the mechanism of action — it’s still muscle relaxation via type A toxin — only the duration.

Injection
