The course

The MODE Injector Academy is the in house training program of the MODE aesthetics practice in North Scottsdale, built on the MODE New Injector Training Manual written by our co-founder Marisa Dulin, MSN, FNP-C. Level 1 is the starting point. It is written for licensed providers, RN, NP, PA, MD, DO, or dentist, who are drawn to aesthetics and have never held a syringe of filler.

Over two days you work through the full arc of a new injector's education. How neurotoxins and fillers actually work. The facial anatomy that keeps patients safe. The assessment habits that separate careful injectors from fast ones. Then you inject, supervised, on live models.

Cohorts stay small. You learn in the same treatment rooms we use with our own patients, the practice behind the Google reviews from MODE patients, with both instructors in the room.

  • License required RN, NP, PA, MD, DO, or dentist in good standing
  • Experience required None. Level 1 starts at the beginning
  • Materials Printed MODE training manual and anatomy study guide
  • Completion Certificate of completion

Questions

Before you reserve a seat.

Who can attend Level 1?

Licensed medical professionals who are new to aesthetics: RN, NP, PA, MD, DO, and dentists. Level 1 assumes no injection experience.

I already inject. Is this course for me?

Level 1 is a starter course. If you have been injecting for a while, most of the material will be review. Reach out and we can talk through whether it fits.

What does the $5,000 tuition include?

Two full days of in-person instruction with both instructors, the printed MODE New Injector Training Manual and facial anatomy study guide, supervised hands on injecting with live models, and a certificate of completion.

Do I need to bring my own model?

No. We schedule live models for the hands on portions through our in house model program.

How do I reserve a seat?

Send an inquiry through the form below, call us at 480-203-2072, or email [email protected]. Cohorts are small and dates are set in advance, so reach out early.

Most injector courses I find are large groups taught by people who no longer treat patients. Who teaches MODE Injector Academy, and how big is the cohort?

Level 1 is taught in person over two days by Marisa Dulin, MSN, FNP-C, and Torey Varner, RN, the two nurse injectors who treat MODE's own patients, with both instructors in the room. Cohorts stay small and training happens in the practice's real treatment rooms, built on the MODE New Injector Training Manual that Marisa wrote.

The MODE Injector Academy is education for licensed medical professionals. Attendees are responsible for practicing within the scope of their license and the regulations of their state.
