What it is

Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) — a biostimulator that delivers both immediate structural support AND long-term collagen and elastin stimulation. Unlike Sculptra (which builds only gradually) and HA filler (which adds volume only), Radiesse does both at once.

We use Radiesse in the face for its collagen and elastin benefits, and across the body — neck, décolleté, elbows, knees, buttocks, and posterior thighs (where hyperdiluted Radiesse can address cellulite). Standalone Radiesse is $850 per syringe — the same as our other dermal fillers.

Our Radiesse Neck Combination ($1,500) pairs hyperdiluted Radiesse with botox and dermal filler for comprehensive neck rejuvenation — addressing crepey texture, horizontal lines, muscle banding, and structural laxity in one visit.

The protocol

A deliberate sequence — not a one-time visit.

01

Consult

Your nurse injector assesses the area and recommends Radiesse vs Sculptra vs dermal filler based on your anatomy and structural goals.

02

Treatment

30-60 minutes. Standalone Radiesse is $850 per syringe. The Radiesse Neck Combination ($1,500) pairs hyperdiluted Radiesse with botox and dermal filler in the same visit. Topical and local numbing as needed.

03

Massage protocol

Radiesse requires structured massage post-treatment to distribute product evenly. We review the schedule with you.

04

Three-month review

Collagen response assessed. Most patients see continued improvement between 3 and 6 months as CaHA stimulates new collagen and elastin.

Questions

What patients often ask.

Radiesse vs Sculptra — which is right?+
Both are biostimulators, but they behave differently. Radiesse (CaHA) gives immediate volume AND collagen and elastin stimulation — good when you want structural lift now and more over time. Sculptra (PLLA) is slower and purely collagen-driven — better for large-area, gradual structural rebuilding. The right choice is decided in consult based on your anatomy and goals.
How much does Radiesse cost?+
Standalone Radiesse is $850 per syringe — the same as our other dermal fillers. The Radiesse Neck Combination is $1,500 and includes botox, dermal filler, and hyperdiluted Radiesse delivered together. Multi-syringe body work (e.g., buttock enhancement at 10 syringes) is priced as a package.
What’s the Radiesse Neck Combination?+
A combination protocol designed for full neck rejuvenation — hyperdiluted Radiesse delivered alongside botox (for muscle banding) and dermal filler (for structural support) in one visit. $1,500 covers the combination. Addresses crepey skin, horizontal lines, tech-neck texture, and platysmal banding together.
Can Radiesse really treat cellulite?+
Yes — hyperdiluted Radiesse on the posterior thighs stimulates collagen and elastin in the skin, which can soften the appearance of cellulite over the months following treatment. Results are gradual and improve as new collagen forms. Best paired with a consistent skincare regimen and assessed during consult.
What body areas can Radiesse treat?+
Face (collagen and elastin support), neck, décolleté, elbows, knees, buttocks, and posterior thighs. Treatment plan is built per-area in consult.
Will there be massage homework?+
Yes. Post-treatment massage (typically 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days) distributes Radiesse evenly. Skipping this can cause lumping. We send you home with clear instructions.
Is Radiesse permanent?+
No. Results last 12-18 months as the calcium hydroxylapatite is gradually metabolized. The collagen and elastin it stimulated persist longer.
Who injects Radiesse at MODE?+
Marisa Dulin, MSN, FNP-C and Torey Varner, RN.
