Filler Correction & Dissolution
Reset your anatomy when filler has migrated, over-corrected, or needs reversing — without judgment.
Filler Correction is the dissolution of hyaluronic acid filler using hyaluronidase — an enzyme that breaks down HA in hours. This is used for migration, overdone results, lumping, asymmetry, or patient preference to reverse.
At MODE, we welcome correction appointments without judgment. Whether you had filler elsewhere or with us years ago, dissolving it to reset your anatomy is often the right starting point for a new plan.
Filler Correction is also used in rare emergency cases (vascular compromise from filler placed incorrectly). As a legitimate clinical practice, we keep hyaluronidase on hand and can address emergency situations immediately when they arise.

A deliberate sequence — not a one-time visit.
Consult
Assessment of what was placed, where, when, and what outcome you want. Correction may be partial (dissolve only misplaced/overdone areas) or full (reset all HA filler).
Dissolution
15-30 minutes. Small hyaluronidase injections into treated areas. Topical numbing if needed.
Resolution
HA begins breaking down within hours. Most patients see full effect within 24-48 hours, some up to 1 week for deep placement.
Re-plan (optional)
If you want to rebuild filler after correction, wait 2-4 weeks for tissue to settle before discussing a new plan.
