What it is

Hydrafacial is a patented vortex-infusion device that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates the skin in a single multi-step treatment. It’s the monthly maintenance facial of choice — effective, consistent, zero downtime, suitable for nearly all skin types.

At MODE we offer three Hydrafacial tiers: Standard Hydrafacial, ZO Hydrafacial (upgraded with ZO Stimulator Peel and ZO face masque integrated into the protocol), and a Dermaplane + Hydrafacial combo for maximum surface reset.

  • MechanismPatented vortex-infusion — cleanse, exfoliate, extract, hydrate
  • Best forMonthly skin maintenance, dullness, congestion, pre-event glow
  • Pricing$250 standard / $350 ZO Hydrafacial / $375 Dermaplane combo
  • Face+Neck+Chest$300 standard, $425 ZO
  • Pairs withMicroneedling, peels, BBL laser (all scheduled at separate visits)

At MODE, in-clinic work is amplified by the ZO Skin Health regimen you follow between visits — calibrated at consult, tuned as your skin changes.

The protocol

A deliberate sequence — not a one-time visit.

01

Skin assessment

Brief assessment of your skin’s current state — we adjust the Hydrafacial protocol serums and attention areas based on what your skin needs that day.

02

Cleanse & exfoliate

Vortex-infusion tip removes surface debris and dead cells. Mildly exfoliating acids loosen congestion.

03

Extract

Painless extraction using suction to clear pore congestion — no pinching or lancing.

04

Hydrate + boost

Serums infused into newly-clean skin. ZO tier adds Stimulator Peel and masque layers.

Hydrafacial · The protocol

Four steps, one considered treatment.

Calibrated to the season.
Combined with dermaplaning.
Medical-grade, not a day-spa facial.
Questions

What patients often ask.

What’s the difference between Hydrafacial and ZO Hydrafacial?+
Standard Hydrafacial uses the patented device’s default serums. ZO Hydrafacial integrates ZO Stimulator Peel and a customized ZO face masque into the protocol — more brightening, more anti-aging, $100 more.
How often should I get one?+
Monthly is the sweet spot for maintenance. Some patients space to 6-8 weeks, others weekly for event prep. Over-frequent treatment doesn’t improve results beyond monthly.
Is there downtime?+
None. You can wear makeup and return to all activities immediately. Most patients leave glowing.
Will it help acne?+
Yes, for congestive acne and surface breakouts. The exfoliation and extraction clear pores effectively. For cystic or inflammatory acne, pair with chemical peels and a skincare regimen.
Can I do Hydrafacial before an event?+
Yes — it’s event-prep gold. Schedule 3-7 days before an event for the skin to fully settle into its best state.
Who performs Hydrafacial at MODE?+
Heather Cyr, LME, CLT and Sara Espinoza, LME, CLT — both licensed medical estheticians and experienced with the protocol.
